HRV High School -Logo Revamp

Most high school logos are often poorly designed and hopelessly derivative. Paired with another peer, the goal here was to redesign the other's high school logo to be at the level  all logos should. Hood River Valley High School is in Hood River, Oregon, with the mascot being an eagle.

Logo Exploration

The eagle had to stay the same, but the challenge was how to make it new, and incorporate the iconic Mt. Hood. This city is the windsurfing capitol of the world, hence the version with an eagle engaging in the activity.

Ultimately, the wings transitioning into the mountaintop and eagle head at the peak was the most effective.
